Responsabilities:

You will be in charge of designing and developing highly functional and user-friendly web frontends with React.js, Redux, Redux Saga, and TypeScript, among other technologies. You will use cloud and container technologies like Kubernetes on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, and you will contribute to our product technical roadmap. One of your responsibilities will be to oversee the development and maintenance of internal frameworks and services that improve Sainsbury’s capabilities. You will exhibit engineering competence, knowledge of engineering and architectural principles, and demonstrated experience in software design and implementation, security, cloud, infrastructure as code, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) throughout the whole product lifetime, including decommissioning. Your work will demonstrate your passion for providing solutions to consumers, your advocacy for agile/lean delivery approaches, and your desire for continual improvement. You will be compassionate and understanding in helping your team members meet their goals, staying abreast of new technological advancements, and emphasizing work-life balance above all else.

Requirements:

You are a highly qualified professional with experience in using technologies like Typescript, Redux, React.js, and Redux Saga to design and create incredibly responsive and user-friendly web frontends. You have an extensive understanding of engineering and architectural principles and a solid background in programming languages such as JavaScript, React.JS, Swift/iOS, Android, Kotlin, Java, Springboot, and Golang. This allows you to contribute to the technical roadmap for the product and implement state-of-the-art cloud and container technologies. You are continuously learning new things and researching emerging technologies because you are passionate about providing solutions to clients, agile/lean delivery approaches, and continuous improvement. You are able to empower and help your colleagues in achieving outstanding achievements because of your collaborative personality and dedication to the DevSecOps principles.
