In order to expand our company and foster growth in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), we are now looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. In the biotechnology sector, your duties as a Sales Manager will include creating and implementing sales strategy, overseeing important clients, and growing our clientele.

Responsabilities:

  • Creating and implementing sales strategies to meet revenue goals and propel company expansion in the DACH area are among the responsibilities.
  • Develop and nurture close links with influential decision-makers in the biotechnology sector in order to spot and seize new business opportunities.
  • In order to guarantee client pleasure and optimize sales chances, maintain and grow current customer accounts.
  • Work together with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing and R&D, to create solutions that are specifically tailored to the needs of clients.
  • To spot possible company possibilities and market obstacles, keep up of industry developments and rivals’ activities.
  • Create and execute persuasive proposals and sales presentations to clients that highlight our offerings.
  • Close sales contracts by negotiating and guaranteeing advantageous terms for the client and the business.
  • Create sales reports, track and evaluate sales performance, and offer suggestions for enhancements.
  • Participate in trade exhibitions, industry conferences, and other gatherings to expand your network and advertise Luminary Group’s offerings.
  • Work together with internal departments to guarantee smooth post-sale support and customer onboarding.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in the biological sciences, business, or a similar discipline.
  • Five years minimum of sales experience, ideally in the life sciences or biotechnology sector.
  • A track record of accomplishing sales goals with consistency.
  • Strong familiarity with the biotechnology sector in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland as well as the DACH region.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and negotiating abilities, with the capacity to establish and preserve enduring bonds with customers.
  • The capacity to comprehend and communicate technical and scientific concepts to a variety of audiences.
  • Self-driven, ambitious, and with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities, as well as the capacity to operate both individually and collaboratively.
  • A readiness to journey both domestically and occasionally abroad within the DACH area.
