In order to support Overstory’s expansion into the dynamic field of enterprise software as a service (SaaS) with an emphasis on climate technology, we are seeking an ambitious and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our expanding sales team. As an SDR, you will find new business prospects, pinpoint the particular difficulties faced by utility consumers, and schedule and qualify meetings for our sales team. In your first job, which is remote, you will collaborate directly with our Account Executives, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to introduce prospects to a cutting-edge SaaS solution in the rapidly expanding energy and climate sectors. You pursue new relationships in prospect accounts and convert them into new business prospects with independence, creativity, and persistence.

Responsabilities:

  • Prospect for big and small utility customers in North America using social media, email, cold calling, and account-based research techniques.
  • Track down leads through many channels.
  • Provide the sales team with essential insights and account priority information to bolster our unique selling proposition.
  • Arrange meetings that are suitable for Account Executives.
  • Engage in exploration work with potential customers at all levels to identify pain areas.
  • Keep up-to-date CRM information in HubSpot with pertinent news and details.
  • To create and deliver presentations and convey value, familiarize yourself with Overstory’s product and its position in the software market.
  • Attend trade exhibitions and business gatherings to generate opportunities.

Requeriments:

  • Two or more years of experience as an SDR at a business SaaS or software company, together with a track record that can be seen
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and outbound sales techniques, including the application of technologies and systems for sales enablement.
  • Experience collaborating directly with internal sales teams and clients
  • A strong desire to use new technology, think creatively, gain new skills, and collaborate
  • Awareness of and interest in North America’s electrical utility sectorf
  • Fervently concerned with climate change

Nice-to-haves
