Responsabilities:
- Ensuring that the highest value opportunities within your business area are given priority for your analytics squads to work on.
- To prove the value you provide and spot areas for future product development, make sure you can clearly describe the scope and impact of your data products.
- The development of quarterly product roadmaps, upkeep of a product strategy, and a backlog divided into releases of specific products and features with measurable value increments.
- Finding the right data product involves more than just brainstorming; it also involves specifying the specifications and building any prototypes that are required to test the product’s usefulness, viability, and value before building it.
- In order to maximize end user adoption, data product build activities range from making sure all requirements are met to release management tasks like end user training.

- Implementing our internally developed and established data product lifecycle methodology and providing teams and stakeholders with coaching on it.

Requeriments:
- Data Product Manager is a relatively new role in industry thus we’re comfortable recruiting candidates who may have not held this job title before. Typically, we’ve recruited Product Managers or Consultants that have good delivery lifecycle experience or Analysts who enjoy a minor shift in employment. - You are passionate about data and are data literate. We’re not seeking for you to code, we are looking for you to be able to spot opportunities of where data may be leveraged to make smarter judgments. We’re also expecting you to be able to transfer opportunities into technical teams and technical solutions back into business stakeholders.
- You have experience of leading end to end delivery of data/analytics/data science. You know product or consultancy delivery methodology from ideation to release. You’ve led cross functional teams which have reached a successful commercial outcome. You’ll be familiar with agile methods but more crucially you’ll know the data lifecycle and subtleties of designing and producing data rather than software.
- You are metric literate. You will be able to determine the most essential KPIs to the business model and P&L. You will be able to use measurements to identify where the biggest chances for performance improvement are. You’ll use metrics to drive prioritisation, monitor user uptake and measure the impact your data products have had.
- You are an organized communicator and problem solver.You take the initiative to identify the underlying causes of issues before diving into the solution-finding process. Using a MECE technique, problems can be broken down into a list of issues that need to be resolved.
