Responsabilities:
Roadmap and Product Strategy: 30%
- Create and implement a thorough product strategy and roadmap for our print and pre-press offerings. To find opportunities and trends in the book, comic, zine, and other print markets, conduct competition analysis and market research. Clearly define the product’s vision and make sure it meets both customer and business demands.
30% of product development
- Work together with the engineering, production, and design teams to create new products and enhance current ones. Make sure that goods are created with the end user in mind, emphasizing effectiveness, usability, and quality. Oversee the specification, budget, and schedule creation phases of the product development process.
15% of customers are engaged.
- Interact with consumers to learn about their wants and preferences and to get feedback. Assist the sales and marketing teams in informing customers about the features and benefits of the products. To enable the sales team to market our products successfully, give them assistance and training.
15% for project management
- Keep an eye on project schedules and make sure deadlines are reached. Organize with both internal and external groups to guarantee a seamless project implementation. Determine and reduce hazards that might affect the completion of the project.
- Analysis and Performance Metrics: 10%
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the success of your product. To guide continual improvement and make well-informed decisions, analyze data on product performance. Provide senior-level management with regular updates on the status and performance of your products.
Requeriments:
Experience:
- Three to five years’ minimum of product management experience, ideally in the publishing or print sector.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee goods effectively from conception to launch.
- Proficiency in pre-press and print procedures is a prerequisite.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
- The capacity to cooperate with teams from other departments.
- Strong ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, business, marketing, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of software and tools for product management.
- Knowledge of the programs and procedures used in print creation.
