Leading cross-functional teams to execute business change and engaging in tough talks and discussions with senior stakeholders and important suppliers will be within your wheelhouse. As an essential business partner, you will successfully manage supplier risk and performance while pushing and encouraging stakeholders as needed. You will lead contractual and strategic partner management within your category, discover possibilities and ideas, and cultivate fruitful partnerships with major suppliers. You’ll also help the department succeed as a whole, lead by example for the team, and make sure category plans follow supplier management and procurement guidelines.

Requeriments:

Your in-depth knowledge of developing trends and external supply markets allows you to offer insightful suggestions and practical solutions that promote company success. You stand out for your capacity to manage cross-functional teams, have tough talks and negotiations, and cultivate positive working relationships with important stakeholders and suppliers. You are able to effectively manage risks and optimize outcomes while striking a balance between the demands of the business, customers, and colleagues thanks to your strong commercial acumen, critical thinking abilities, and perseverance. Being a reliable source of information and solutions, you are essential in determining the commercial and sourcing strategy, providing excellent value, and guaranteeing that Sainsbury’s and its clients receive exceptional solutions.
