Job Description

Job Type: Operating Model Manager
Location: United Kingdom
Company: Sainsburys

All of us would like to have fantastic work to do and a true work/life balance. That is right here, waiting for you. The logistics and supply chain are the backbone of our daily operations, enabling thousands of products to be transported from factories and farms to our millions of clients. We schedule our events around everything from Sunday roasts to barbecue weekends, and from people who like to create their own cauliflower cheese to others who want it oven-ready. Data and insight are crucial. However, judgment is also important because we are the first to identify any problems or ambiguities. There is a significant change occurring. People that support change, get others behind them, work cooperatively, and communicate are needed for this. For those individuals have a great deal of potential.

Responsabilities:

  • Your primary duty will be to create and implement an operational model that allows the company to overcome organizational obstacles and strike a balance between growth and risk. In order to create a clear framework for operational procedures and systems, you will work with stakeholders to identify areas that can be automated and standardized.
  • You will also create documentation for the operating model that includes workflows and business process processes, along with any modifications needed to accommodate seasonal variations in volume and space. Enhancing capability through coaching and training, making sure the operational teams have the know-how to perform at a high level, setting up operational controls to guarantee adherence to the procedures outlined in the operating model, and keeping an eye on compliance are some of your main responsibilities.
  • Finally, you will lead conversations, solicit feedback, and encourage agreement on modifications to the process. You will also clearly and persuasively communicate recommendations and data analysis to stakeholders.

Requeriments:

  • An exceptionally skilled individual with a track record of implementing strategic change in intricate organizations. Your proficiency in operating model architecture, along with your in-depth knowledge of logistics and fulfilment, business analysis, and process improvement, allows you to create and implement frameworks that successfully manage risk, balance growth, and get around organizational obstacles.
  • You successfully assist stakeholder alignment and decision-making processes with your exceptional communication and presentation abilities, which guarantees the successful implementation of the intended operating model. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, together with your meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills, allow you to spot opportunities for development, streamline procedures, and increase productivity.
  • Furthermore, your capacity for strategic thought and problem-solving in a multifaceted setting supports the overall performance of the operating model and the organization.
  • Since we genuinely want to be an inclusive retailer, you will always be accepted for who you are and where you work. Here, you can always try something new, whether it’s as a member of a developing team or in another department. We also take your growth seriously and will help you along the way. Additionally, we honor and commend coworkers who go above and above and, when feasible, provide flexible scheduling. Along with joining our team, you’ll receive an incredible array of advantages.
