Do you perform well in a fast-paced setting where legal knowledge and creativity are combined? To join our expanding legal team, we are looking for a highly driven Legal Manager. You’ll be crucial to the efficient running of the Twinkl group as well as to caseload management, accurate legal help, and handling a variety of legal issues.

Responsabilities:

You will be essential to the smooth running of the legal department in this capacity. Among your primary duties will be:

  • Legal Research: Use your expertise and analytical abilities to conduct in-depth legal research on a range of subjects pertinent to Twinkl’s operations. This will help you identify legal issues and provide advice that is both commercially and legally focused.
  • Drafting and Reviewing Legal Documents: This includes preparing, reviewing, negotiating, marking up, and proofreading a variety of legal documents such as leases, contracts, policies, notices, and letters.
  • Organizing and Setting Legal Matter Priorities: Handle a large amount of legal work with efficiency, setting priorities wisely to meet deadlines.
  • Keeping Current with Legal Developments: Keep abreast of the most recent legal changes that affect Twinkl and take proactive steps to ensure that the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Managing hazards: Recognize possible legal hazards connected to different corporate operations in a quick-witted, innovation-focused setting. Create plans to reduce these risks by doing study and analysis.
  • Projects: Collaborate on continuing strategic legal projects with Twinkl’s Senior Legal Manager.

Requirements:

  • A legal degree or a course on legal conversion (important) Although not necessary, LPC is preferred.
  • Experience in legal operations, in-house legal teams, or law firms is required.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in fields related to Twinkl’s business, such as contracts, employment, intellectual property, and commercial/contractual matters, is preferred.
  • Having access to a quick and dependable internet connection with at least 6 Mbps down and 1 Mbps upload speed is necessary for remote work. For checking, we advise using speedtest.net.
