We are currently looking for a seasoned freelance IT support services specialist to join our team. You will be in charge of giving our clients technical help to make sure their IT systems and solutions are operating without a hitch as an IT help Services Specialist. Applications from UK-based individuals are welcome for this remote role.

Responsabilities:

  • Offer technical assistance and troubleshooting for problems with networks, hardware, and software.
  • When required, diagnose and fix technological issues before elevating complex ones.
  • Install, set up, and maintain hardware and software systems.
  • Establish and manage access controls and user accounts.
  • Monitor systems and security on a frequent basis.
  • Make system backups and follow protocols for disaster recovery.
  • Establish and manage a knowledge base and technical documentation.
  • Give people instruction and direction on IT tools and systems.
  • Keep up of market developments and trends in IT support. Implement innovative workflows using the newest models and software that are upending the IT support sector.

Requeriments:

  • Demonstrated expertise in an IT support services specialist or related field
  • Strong technical background in network, hardware, and software systems; demonstrated ability to identify and troubleshoot technical problems
  • Understanding optimal practices for IT security
  • Competent in setting up hardware and software systems
  • Familiarity with cloud-based programs and services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities
  • The capacity to operate remotely and independently

  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework and procedures
  • Understanding of software and technologies for remote desktop support
