As the Head of Foreign Exchange and Cross-Border Payments, you will be joining the Customer Product group. You will be a part of a dynamic company that is doing things differently and pushing the market, reporting to the VP of Customer Products.
We are looking for a very talented and experienced person to become the Head of Foreign Exchange and Cross-Border Payments in our team. You will require in-depth knowledge of the global payments sector, with an emphasis on digital assets for cross-border payments, foreign currency, and cross-border payments.
Responsabilities:
As the Head of Foreign Exchange and Cross-Border Payments, your duties will include:
- Recognize ClearBank customers and the best ways to facilitate cross-border payments, whether they are made using international fast or another payment method.
- Create and put into action important initiatives to boost sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and stimulate growth.
- Drive a three-year plan, possess in-depth knowledge of both conventional and cutting-edge cross-border payment techniques (such as blockchain technology, which enables international payments), and look into develop, buy, or partner strategies to meet our clients’ needs.
- Create and mentor a highly effective team of product managers to oversee daily operations, including backlog management, priority setting, and product development.
- Establish and preserve connections with important partners, such as financial institutions, payment processors, and authorities in charge of regulation.
- Keep an eye on the competitive environment and market trends to spot chances for growth and innovation.
- Make sure that all applicable rules and policies—such as those pertaining to sanctions screening and anti-money laundering—are followed.
- Work together with internal stakeholders to accomplish strategic goals and drive business growth, such as the sales, marketing, and product development teams.
- Cooperate closely with Treasury to manage ClearBank’s balance sheet in a way that maximizes the handling of currency balances for liquidity and capital needs.
- Oversee cross-functional teams to increase operational effectiveness, simplify procedures, and strengthen the company’s position as a leader in the cross-border payments market.
Requeriments:
- You must have at least five to ten years of experience in product management and a track record of accomplishment in a related position. You need to be well-versed in foreign exchange markets and cross-border payments.
- Proficient leadership, team management, experience in company development and strategy, communication, and analytical abilities are crucial, along with the capacity to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.
- It is necessary to have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a similar discipline; a master’s degree is desirable. It is advantageous to have other qualifications like Certified Foreign Exchange Professional (CFEP) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
