Responsabilities:

We want to add an experienced Finance Operations Manager to our team and are searching for our next Vabler. The ideal applicant will be in charge of overseeing financial procedures, making sure they are accurate and efficient, and assisting the organization’s overall financial stability. You will be crucial to improving productivity, controlling risks, and streamlining operational operations for the company.

You will be directly responsible to the Head of People & Operations for overseeing our spending, driving our performance KPIs, managing ISO initiatives, and offering financial advise. This position is crucial to the operations division. Important duties will comprise, but not be restricted to:

Forecasting, budgeting, strategy, and financial operations

  • Financial analysis, financial strategy, and forecasting preparation
  • Assume responsibility for managing your budget, costs, and cash flow.
  • Handling Internal Regulations
  • Creating Financial Reports
  • Keeping an eye on business performance and creating financial models
  • We are an international staff that works remotely to manage payroll.
  • Senior Management Financial Reports as Required Statutory and Regulatory Reports and Filings
  • Taking charge of the Accounts Payable and Receivable department and managing the accounts

Operational Controls and Efficiency of Mailboxes

  • Examine current operational and financial procedures to find inefficiencies and potential areas for development.
  • To improve operational efficiency, create and execute automated solutions and optimized operations. Featuring a variety of operations software utilized by Vable.
  • Work together with cross-functional groups to guarantee a smooth integration.
  • To make sure that operational actions are in line with organizational objectives, track and evaluate their performance.
  • To improve operations and financial reporting, make use of automation techniques and technologies.
  • Create and manage documentation and procedures for financial operations.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement while leading and improving internal Financial & Operations controls, procedures, and processes.
  • Administration of the Financial and Operations systems, including any required improvements.

Project management and ISO

  • Take on the responsibilities of a project manager, supervising the project schedule and departmental cooperation to fulfill deadlines and keep our ISO27001 accreditation.
  • Assist with risk identification and conduct internal readiness audits to assess ISO27001 compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in maintaining the ISMS, making sure it complies with ISO27001 standards and is appropriate for our operational setting.
  • Help establish, evaluate, and update information security policies, processes, procedures, standards, baselines, and guidelines that are necessary for obtaining and preserving certification with the Head of People & Operations.
  • Assist in the external certification process by getting ready all the paperwork and proof auditors will need.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of the ISMS’s efficacy and the certification process to senior management and other relevant parties.
  • Help the Head of People & Operations establish ISO practices for the business. Management of suppliers, hazards, and access control for the entire organization in project management.
  • To guarantee the timely and effective completion of the project, coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, oversee schedules, and resolve any problems or difficulties that emerge.
  • Anything more ad hoc that is company-wide.

Requeriments:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar discipline.
  • Five years of minimum experience in accounting and finance positions, ideally in a fast-paced setting. (Accounting firm AND experience in startups and scale-ups).
  • Two years minimum of project management and operations experience, including familiarity with ISO.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting standards, financial rules, and financial principles.
  • Expertise with cloud-based financial tools and technologies. We make use of Xero.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and correctness.
  • Meticulous focus on details.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to oversee several objectives and adhere to deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as the capacity to collaborate across teams.
  • Being able to live and work in the United Kingdom.

Good to have:

Professional certificates, such as CPA and CMA, require project management expertise gained from project managing a business to obtain ISO accreditation, in addition to two or more years of experience.
