What is the position?
We are seeking a Finance Manager to become a valuable member of our finance team for a three-month contract, and to play a significant role in an industry disruptor in the decentralized banking space.

As the point person in charge of the monthly close of the group statutory accounts in NetSuite (including accounting for cryptocurrencies), the annual statutory audit, the quarterly VAT returns, and the day-to-day accounting of the business,

In order to guarantee our financial statements are correct and dependable and to support the timely preparation of management accounts and Board Decks, you will collaborate closely with the Group Financial Controller to establish sufficient and efficient financial controls.

Note that this is a three-month contract that falls under IR35; FTCs will also be taken into account.

Responsabilities:

Analysis and Reporting of Financial Data:

• To ensure accurate and trustworthy group financial statements, make sure sufficient and efficient financial controls—like balance sheet reconciliations—are in place.
• Oversee the month-end process in NetSuite and the consolidation of financial accounts.
• Make sure that the statutory audit tests are completed on time.
• Compile and submit the company’s yearly reports, such as the
• Confirmation Statements.
• As needed, create technical accounting documents.
• Work along with the FP&A Finance Manager to guarantee that Board Decks and management accounts are produced on schedule.
• Accounting for Cryptocurrencies
• Communicate with the Executive Team of the Group to comprehend the substance and commercial nature of transactions using crypto-accounting.
• Full accounting for cryptocurrencies for the Group’s investment subsidiary and related exchanges
• Create and keep working papers and technical documents pertaining to the Group’s accounting technique for

• Prepare workings (including those pertaining to gains or losses on cryptocurrency) and supply financial data to make the Group Corporation Tax return completion process easier.
• Determine and track the risks associated with the corporation tax structure of the Group.
• Establish and maintain controls to guarantee that the Group continues to comply with VAT.
• Fill out Group VAT quarterly reports in NetSuite.
• Periodically reconcile input, output, and control VAT accounts.

Projects on-demand:

• Closely collaborate with the Group Financial Controller to put a new employee share plan into place.
• Oversee the introduction of a new cryptocurrency token program for employees.
