Responsabilities:

  • In your work as Sainsbury’s External Campaigns Manager, you will be instrumental in realizing our mission and establishing the firm as a leader in the UK food chain. Together with the Corporate Communications and Campaigns team and the Senior External Campaigns Manager, you will develop compelling campaigns and narratives that position Sainsbury’s as a purpose-driven company that prioritizes sustainability. Among your duties will be creating and carrying out a purpose-driven thought leadership campaign, organizing media engagement initiatives to encourage positive narratives, cultivating connections with pertinent internal and external stakeholders, and overseeing agency collaborations. You will also aggressively cultivate relationships with teams around the company, promote continuous development, and contribute to a collaborative culture. As a seasoned communications specialist, you will use your knowledge of media relations, corporate and purpose-driven communications, and issues management to execute campaigns that are successful and add to the team’s overall success.

Requeriments:

  • You are a seasoned communications specialist with a solid foundation in goal-driven and corporate communications. Your proficiency in issues management and public relations, along with your comprehension of sustainability and the business climate, places you in a position to play a significant role in realizing the company’s mission and ensuring the sustainability of the UK food system. You effectively communicate Sainsbury’s purpose and sustainability goals through impactful narrative, demonstrating exceptional discernment and attention to detail, as well as your ability to distill complicated facts into captivating messaging for varied audiences. You can create connections both internally and externally thanks to your strong networking and collaboration abilities, which support a collaborative culture that values ongoing improvement. You are an adept decision-maker who leads and develops an External Campaigns Executive while managing external agencies and setting priorities for work resources.
