Leading productive engineering teams for iOS and Android who use Swift and Kotlin to create and manage our primary mobile applications for Sainsbury’s and Argos will be your responsibility. Our primary customer touchpoints are these apps, which provide a smooth shopping, account management, and product browsing experience.

Responsabilities:

• Leading and facilitating the delivery of solutions that add value, boost productivity, and improve performance for the company will be your primary responsibility.
• You will oversee and direct a multi-skilled team of mobile app engineers, making sure they have the tools and know-how to provide complete technological solutions for goods.
• It is your duty to coach and mentor your team members, seek out and hire talented and diverse candidates, and foster a climate of respect, cooperation, and learning.
• You will establish the technical direction and product vision in close collaboration with product managers and engineers. You will oversee several deliveries and assume full responsibility for your products, including change and service management.
• Other crucial facets of your job include spearheading the creation of new features, supporting lean and agile delivery approaches, and advancing best engineering practises.
• You will also oversee finances at the initiative level, make sure procedures and guidelines are followed, and exhibit good attitudes and behaviors that support an inclusive and high-achieving culture.
