South East & London Service Engineer

In and around Greater London, FAFS Fire & Security specializes in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automatic fire detection, protection, and alarm systems. Right now, we’re trying to find a new Service Engineer to work in the London area.

Base Salary: £42,000 annually, depending on experience

Responsabilities:

Service Fire and related systems in compliance with the laws as they stand. coordinating with pertinent departments to guarantee optimal procedures and the most economical resolution. to finish and send back all company certifications and paperwork in order to adhere to the ISO 9001 policies and processes of the company.   • Perform planned routine maintenance in a timely, economical, and efficient manner in accordance with our company’s quality requirements.
  • Complete any additional tasks that are required at the customer’s location in compliance with the quality requirements of our company.
  • Support the rota schedule as needed to keep our customers’ after-hours service dependable and prompt.
  • Effectively communicate with our clients to make sure they are aware of the state of the system and the site, especially any problems that may be affecting the system’s ability to work as intended.
  • Provide any pertinent fire safety information to our client’s clients.
  • Plan your own work in accordance with service management guidelines, including regular maintenance and service visits, emergency call out requirements, corrective repairs, and small additions to already-existing installations.
  • Make sure our clients’ documentation is completed in a timely and readable manner as needed.
  • Assume responsibility for the effective and economical management and security of your own equipment inventory by balancing stock levels with work activities and placing orders for new inventory as needed.
  • Follow the demands of our customers, the company’s quality standards, and the regulations pertaining to health and safety.
  • Talk about ideas for improving the system or service with the line manager and provide recommendations.
