An experienced electronics engineer has a rare opportunity to collaborate with and design cutting-edge virtual production technologies for movies, television shows, and live broadcasts, as well as sophisticated camera robotics.
You are going to be a part of an Agile multidisciplinary team. This is a practical role where the main responsibilities are system development and electronics design. From inception to production, you will define, design, construct, and test new items.
The chosen applicant will have prior expertise gathering specifications and translating them into functional designs. You must have faith in your talents to solve problems creatively and independently, as you are capable of managing both people and developments.
Responsabilities:
- Take complete ownership of the electronic design process, which includes PCB layout, component selection, simulation, and schematic capture.
- Contribute to the definition of the specification based on the technical and commercial requirements, keeping stakeholders informed.
- In addition to enhancing current technology, evaluate and introduce new ones.
- Verify that designs adhere to safety, regulatory, and compliance agency criteria in order to facilitate the approval process.
- Organize early prototype builds while actively participating in design verification and debugging.
- Participate in DFMEA subsystem-level activities to assist in identifying risks and appropriate mitigations.
- Communicate with Manufacturers of Contract Electronics.
- As needed, assist with production.
- Create documentation for testing, integration, and design.
- Work together across disciplines and teams to find solutions for design and integration issues.
- Help out junior engineers by lending your expertise when needed.
- Make sure the electronics team follows through on tasks by assigning tasks and providing coaching.
