PAY: £45–50K

Overview and goal of the role

For a long-term engagement, an electrical tester with expertise working for London Underground is needed. Working night shifts and performing electrical testing and maintenance on LV electrical systems throughout the TfL London Underground estate are required for this position.

Responsabilities:

  • To complete planned maintenance in compliance with job schedules and the PPM of the business.
  • Perform PPM tasks in a high-caliber, competent manner.
    generating situational and technical reports as needed.
  • Make proactive use of the IT solutions provided to you so that the business may consistently fulfill its contractual duties.
    must always interact with clients and the rest of the team in a straightforward and effective manner.
  • Participating in team meetings and briefings as asked at all times.
  • To make certain that a positive image of the company is continuously maintained.
  • Must report to your line manager right away any significant problems or occurrences that occur on the site.
  • Recognize and comprehend the requirements of all applicable laws pertaining to quality, safety, the environment, and health as well as their own roles and obligations within the organization.
  • Complete testing and inspection protocols in accordance with BS7671 Creating EICRs and Defect Reports

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds (2391 Testing and Inspection) or 2394 & 2395
  • City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 or Levels 2 and 3
  • City & Guilds IET Regulations, Eighth Edition, BS7671
  • Proven expertise in conducting electrical tests.
  • A thorough understanding of rail safety requirements and electrical regulations.

  • London Underground Industry Common Induction, or Sentinel-LU-ICI
