Responsabilities:

  • Create and implement a thorough digital strategy encompassing all of your areas of accountability. Use all relevant and available trade levers to increase visibility, conversion, sales, and profit in order to meet your predetermined budgets. Improve digital KPIs in line with business aims for your trading division.
  • Make sure your team and you are making the most of all the resources and insights at your disposal in order to enhance digital metrics and business results.
  • To guarantee that the team has a continuous improvement program and that there are excellent instances of “test and learn” activities, promote an insight-driven culture. When tool development is required to carry out your plans, work together with important tech, engineering, merchandising, or design stakeholders to improve our capacities within predetermined schedules.
  • Prioritize team resources so that they align to deliver at a fast pace while collaborating with other Trading Managers on important initiatives to improve our offer and drive our digital performance and KPIs.
  • Work with the Product Content and Content & Optimisations teams to shape future journey and optimisation plans, and make sure your in-depth category knowledge is taken into account.
  • You will deliver a well-defined Category Plan that is updated annually and regularly improved, guaranteeing that Digital contributes to our larger business objectives for your designated responsibilities.
  • Collaborate closely with the leadership teams of Commercial trade to guarantee that the extent of digital trade is recognized, that protocols are defined, and that channels of communication are unobstructed.
  • Make sure you and your team use data, analytics, and insights from pertinent tools and reports to play a major part in promotional and category planning activities.
  • Participate in significant food-related SLTs, cascades, pertinent away days, and commercial reviews to share performance updates and contribute to the development of commercial strategy.
  • Make that risks and possibilities for trade improvement are recognized and addressed promptly.
  • To ensure the timely and effective delivery of the content plan and initiatives, collaborate closely with Customer and Event Planning, Content and Merchandising, Nectar360, Product, CX, and Digital Operations Center.
  • Develop trusting relationships with important suppliers of shared insights, make sure your team’s JBPs are challenging but attainable, and assist them in maintaining current revenue streams and identifying new areas for further investment.
  • Make sure that everyone in your team is highly aware of the categories in which your competitors operate as well as the regular monitoring and communication of improvements to the customer experience.
  • Make sure you and your group are adhering to any applicable legal frameworks.
  • Where you report directly to others (applicable to some but not all Digital Trading Managers) Lead, mentor, and grow the group to make sure everyone knows the overarching digital strategy and how they fit into it. Make sure your goals are precise and that you consistently report on them. Make sure the right training needs are determined, push and enhance your team-building skills, and establish a welcoming, cooperative, and proactive work atmosphere.
