Responsabilities:

Your main responsibility as a Sainsbury’s Data Protection Manager will be to assist the Group Data Protection Officer in making sure that data protection laws are followed throughout the Sainsbury’s Group. For the company, you will be in charge of organizing and finishing Records of Processing Activities and Data Protection Impact Assessments. This will entail creating and overseeing the methodology and templates for data protection impact assessments, helping the company finish assessments, and offering assistance with ad hoc data protection issues. In addition, you will support privacy and implant a culture of privacy compliance, create and implement legal and privacy controls, and engage with key stakeholders to garner support and buy-in for privacy projects. Additionally, you will be essential in supporting incident response efforts, monitoring project progress and milestones, doing routine risk assessments, and providing privacy training and awareness initiatives. You will drive change and cultivate a privacy-focused culture inside Sainsbury’s while ensuring that the company maintains a solid and compliant data protection framework thanks to your subject matter expertise, legal degrees, and excellent analytical and communication abilities.

Requirements:

You are an extremely competent individual with legal degree and subject matter experience in data protection working as a Sainsbury’s data protection manager. Having worked extensively on data protection issues for at least two years, including implementing and overseeing data governance, you have a thorough awareness of intricate organizational structures and the skills necessary to successfully navigate them. Your ability to persuade stakeholders, promote change, and ensure compliance with data protection legislation is a result of your strategic approach and outstanding communication skills. You manage data events, carry out risk assessments, and provide excellent replies to data issues with a proactive and outcome-oriented approach because of your strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and process-driven mentality.
