Job Description

Job Type: Customer Service Advisor
Location: United Kingdom
Company: Sainsbury’s

All of us would like to have fantastic work to do and a true work-life balance. That’s at Sainsbury’s Bank, ready for you. Our motto is “Bank by name, Sainsbury’s by nature,” and we make sure to live up to it by consistently providing value, making things simple, and supporting our clients. Being an equal opportunity workplace that supports a varied and welcoming culture that mirrors the variety of the communities we serve makes us proud. Because we are aware that the best experiences for our clients and coworkers are produced when we collaborate and bring fresh, varied ideas to the table. Being a part of the larger Sainsbury’s Group, which is among the most reputable businesses in the UK, offers our coworkers numerous chances to reach their full potential. Here, you can contribute to a larger project and help develop a fresh strategy that centers all we do around the needs of the client.

As one of our dependable Travel Money Advisors, assist our clients in having a wonderful start to their vacations. You will be a member of our Winning Team and have the opportunity to truly make a difference by providing excellent service in one of our in-store Travel Money bureaus.

Being Sainsbury’s Bank’s face of Travel Money, you’ll need to be assured in your ability to cultivate positive client connections and provide them with the kind of personable service that will keep them coming back.

Responsabilities:

You’ll be concentrating on the crucial responsibility of managing currency, so paying close attention to details is crucial. Although you’ll have a close-knit group of people behind you, you’ll be managing the bureau mostly by yourself, so you’ll also need to be comfortable making choices.

Requeriments:

Although it would be ideal if you had prior experience handling cash or finance, the good news is that we will provide all the necessary training to make it not necessary. It matters that you enjoy being of service to others, possess an excellent sense of detail, and feel at ease handling substantial sums of money and statistics.

We provide all of our coworkers with an excellent selection of perks in addition to a market-leading rate of pay:

  • After four weeks, a discount card that offers 10% off most Sainsbury’s, Argos, and Habitat purchases is given to you. Sainsbury’s is offering a 15% discount on every pay day for five days, and Argos is offering a 15% discount on certain weekends throughout the year.
  • generous vacation entitlement, determined by the number of hours worked.
  • Generous maternity and paternity leave is known as “family leave.”
  • Pension: Sainsbury’s will match your contributions to your pension up to a maximum of 4-7%.
  • Sainsbury’s share plans provide you the choice to buy shares every time you get paid to build up an investment, or you can save directly from your salary to purchase Sainsbury’s shares at a discount.
  • Support for wellbeing: Unmind, a free app for mental health, and our Employee Assistance Programme, a private service that offers advice, information, and emotional support on a variety of subjects, including short-term counseling, financial advice, and legal information.
  • Colleague networks are a variety of internal networks that foster an atmosphere in which each coworker is free to be who they are and reach their full potential.
  • Program for cycling to work: rent a bike and its accessories to save on national insurance and taxes.
  • Discounts on shopping: exclusive deals on retail certificates, dining out, vacations, fitness centers, and more.
  • Additionally, a variety of shift patterns are offered; if you’re adaptable and can work well with the team to cover a combination of early, late, and weekend shifts, you’ll find something that suits you.
  • Owing to the nature of the position, all selected candidates will have to consent to a credit and DBS check.
