Responsabilities:

For the designated category or subcategories, it will be your responsibility to carry out the commercial and sourcing strategy. You will assist with research and analysis while working with procurement managers to establish sophisticated commercial strategies. Conducting sourcing operations including supplier evaluation and selection, contract management, and negotiation will be part of your job description. In addition to learning about internal and external supply marketplaces and persuading stakeholders to endorse your ideas, you will create and implement category plans. You will also be responsible for managing important suppliers, making sure that partner relationships are successful and contract transitions are successful. As you implement commercial projects and follow supplier management and procurement procedures, flexibility will be needed. Your capacity to set priorities, manage stakeholders, lead negotiations, produce outcomes, and uphold integrity in all facets of your work will determine how successful you are.

Requeriments:

Essentials

  • A seasoned procurement specialist with knowledge of procurement concepts and procedures, or equivalent relevant commercial experience
  • An understanding of external supply marketplaces, including new possibilities, risks, and trends in your industry; previous experience negotiating with third parties; a foundational understanding of law; and some contract negotiation experience
  • Stakeholder management experience; excellent written and verbal communication abilities; capacity to simplify difficult concepts
