From the minute an online consumer clicks the order button on our website until their purchases are at their doorstep, this is a hands-on profession that makes our online customer orders happen.
As an online assistant, you can be choosing orders from consumers on the store floor, paying close attention to the things you choose and going above and beyond to fulfill their requests. Alternately, you might be answering phones for customers, processing purchases through tills, or even helping our online drivers pack their vans so they can leave on time by working in our online warehouse.
Regardless of the department you work in, you’ll be meticulous and take pride in acting in our clients’ best interests. It’s crucial that you feel at ease using modern technologies and engaging in physical activity, such as lifting and transporting up to 15 kg of shopping containers.

Responsabilities:
- Nightshift premium: If available, an additional £2.45 is paid for each hour worked between midnight and five in the morning in addition to the hourly rate that is published.
- After four weeks, use your discount card to receive a 10% discount on your purchases at Sainsbury’s, Argos, Tu, and Habitat. This is raised to 15% off on Fridays and Saturdays at Sainsbury’s and 15% off on pay days at Argos.
- All of our stores offer complimentary meals and hot beverages to their colleagues.
