Maintaining Britain’s Trade depends on an efficient supply chain, which directly employs over 7 million people to produce, market, and transport the commodities that have an influence on everyone, everywhere. Logistics is more crucial than ever for UK PLC as a result of Brexit, technological advancements, and other disruptive forces that are changing how commodities are transported across borders and along the supply chain.

Responsabilities:

  • Hiring additional individuals to reach Logistics UK’s established goals, if appropriate.
  • Sales targets for cross-selling and upselling are in place for Logistics UK’s current offerings.
  • Revenue goals for new business sales of Logistics UK’s products and services.
  • Oversee a specific account portfolio while generating new business and preserving current revenue.
  • Create and forward business leads to the relevant colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the Contract Management team to maximize income and, where feasible, transition the member from a transactional to a contractual relationship by seeking and offering support as needed.

  • Obtain contract renewals in accordance with the goals of the renewal process.
  • Manage your debt, including invoice inquiries, in accordance with your debt value and debtor day targets.
  • Meet at least twice a year with all designated “core” Logistics UK members.
  • If applicable, create and maintain an account planning document for Logistics UK members.
  • Report to line management on performance in relation to targets and any necessary action plans.
  • Fulfill the KPIs that the POD Dashboard or a comparable reporting package has set and is tracking.
  • Keep all sales opportunities’ volumes, timings, and values accurate.
  • Compile visit reports and keep track of any pertinent data on the Dynamics CRM system to make sure we have the most accurate and comprehensive image of our members.
  • Meet the goals set forth in the marketing strategy and activities for Logistics UK.
  • Determine and share opportunities for new product development inside the company.
  • Attend trade shows, gatherings, and seminars related to hiring, networking, and product sales.
  • Identify Logistics UK as the top trade association for the logistics industry in the UK.
  • Exchange knowledge and best practices with internal coworkers, other MRMs, and the larger Logistics UK sales team.
  • Inform important colleagues of Logistics UK about members of the organization and the logistics industry.
  • Uphold the standing of Logistics UK in accordance with our principles.

  • Strong negotiating abilities and the capacity to provide solutions that benefit both parties by utilizing the complete “product mix”
  • Good presenting abilities and the capacity to create persuasive sales presentations.
