We are searching for a person who is eager to learn and develop, has a sincere interest in IT, and is ready to contribute. Our ideal applicant will be hands-on, have a can-do attitude, and naturally solve problems. Their primary responsibility will be to offer comprehensive and reliable assistance to the London office, with some tasks also being assigned to the global user base. They will be employed by and answer to the UK-based IT & Security Manager.

Responsabilities:

  • Helping with system and maintenance duties, meetings, and the setup of equipment for new hires
    assisting with updates and hardware maintenance
  • Maintaining Hardware and Software Records
  • Delivering in-person and remote assistance to employees, as well as accurately and promptly identifying and resolving problems with MacOS and Windows devices
  • Analytically and gradually addressing technological problems and coming up with answers on your own
  • Resolving common workplace network problems (switching & wifi)
  • Keeping an eye on the freshservice internal ticketing system
    managing and resolving issues with Office 365 programs, such as Teams and Outlook
  • Assistance with administration for the IT & Security Manager, with potential extension to the IT Director
  • Ensuring effective work prioritization and organization
  • Helping management with any additional tasks that come up
  • Stay current with tools, industry developments, and applicable laws.
    When necessary, contribute to the internal vision and objectives of the company.
    strong ability to troubleshoot problems on both Mac and Windows

Requeriments:

  • Strong familiarity with Google applications, the Microsoft Office suite, and creative tools like the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Rudimentary knowledge of networking protocols and devices, such as switches, firewalls, and access points (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of laptop security (firewall, antivirus, scanning)
  • Support for audio/visual products: Teams, Zoom, Google + devices
  • Work autonomously, with little direction, and with a cheerful disposition.
