As part of Twinkl’s online Languages content creation and editing team, you’ll be working alongside a group of enthusiastic educators from all throughout the UK. Working with other content writers, editors, designers, and illustrators to support product priorities and provide our clients with the best teaching content available will occupy the most of your time.

Responsabilities:

Our present project is a completely new scheme of work, and we are committed to delivering it to the client.

Among the things you could do each week are:

  • generating new resources to support instruction across the Languages curriculum
  • Carefully addressing and providing editorial feedback regarding grammar, punctuation, curriculum relevance, and factual accuracy
  • Cooperating with colleagues to improve a resource to a high standard
  • Applying your expertise in teaching Languages to assist the team in developing their resource content
  • Writing screenplays and editing video content; generating resources that address the needs of clients and contemporary teaching methodologies
  • Getting together with other team members to brainstorm and create new ideas
  • Exhibiting outstanding communication skills when working with the authors, editors, designers, and illustrators you collaborate with to curate the information that is already on the site to make sure it is current and fits the needs of the users.
  • Participating in routine team meetings to talk about the product, obstacles, and work priorities

Requirements:

To be successful in the position, you’ll:

  • Possess a PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent qualification as a teacher
  • Have completed two years of full classroom teaching experience following the completion of QTS
  • Be a confident practitioner in the delivery of the Key Stage 2 Languages curriculum
  • Be a confident speaker of Spanish (and possibly French); be an excellent communicator who thrives in a close-knit team; be prepared to work confidently between various IT platforms, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and G Suite
  • Comprehend the English teaching community and its unique pressures and current educational trends; have a willingness to acquire technical skills, such as Canva and video editing; and have a drive for ongoing professional development

Our ideal applicant would be eager to share their knowledge of teaching languages with other members of their team and have a strong desire to give back to the education community. This role may be flexible and work from home, or it may be based at the Sheffield headquarters.
